Dr Bharat Khialani is a consultant Cardiologist.
He completed a Bachelor of BioMedical Science before obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Deans Commendation for high achievement in 2011. During his junior doctor years, Bharat graduated with a Masters of Public Health in 2013 and a Master of Medicine (Perioperative Medicine) in 2016. He continues to be actively involved in Cardiovascular research, presenting at both Australian and International Conferences. He trained in Cardiology at the University Hospital Geelong, Monash Medical Centre and Alfred Hospital, and was conferred Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in November 2018. He is the current Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the prestigious Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge UK, the largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital and the country’s main heart and lung transplant centre.
Bharat’s interests include all aspects of cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He is passionate about ischaemic heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, percutaneous coronary intervention and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
